A new model of Delivery robot CarriRo ® Deli with eight delivery boxes !

ZMP Inc. in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo (CEO, Taniguchi Hisashi , hereinafter ZMP) has announced a new model featuring eight boxes of the delivery robot CarriRo®Deli. CarriRo®Deli handles diverse usage scenes and delivery needs and is available in four different colors and three different box types.

8 box type is of size 220 x depth 245 x height 169 mm and can hold about 10 PET bottles, can also transport convenience box lunches, sandwiches, sweets, etc.
Home delivery robot CarriRo ® Deli's initiatives include the "AI System Collaborative Development Support Project" that was launched by the National R & D Corporation New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization in collaboration with Keio University SFC Research Center and Lawson Co., Ltd. Proposal for "Development and demonstration of safe and secure home delivery robot system utilizing AI" which was conducted for this project (hereinafter referred to as "this project") was adopted to start from January 2019 a demonstration experiment of convenience store automatic delivery serviceand became the first in Keio University Shonan Fujisawa campus.
In this project, we utilized CarriRo ® Deli, a home delivery robot that was born as a mission to "autonomously travel in a complicated environment and deliver products to consumers against seven million shopping refugees and logistics human resources issues"
ZMP will utilize AI technology and autonomous mobile technology to promote efficiency and automation of logistics in various industries and scenes in both domestic and overseas and will create a safe, enjoyable and convenient lifestyle.

CarriRo® is a bogie type logistic support robot with a drive mode in which it is operated using a joystick, to move in a karugamo mode to automatically follow a beacon (transmitter), and it is also function in autonomous movement. CarriRo is possible to raise the transport productivity up to about 3 times.
