Currently taking orders for Logistics support robot CarriRo® hand lift tow attachment

-Together with Sugiyasu Corporation, the largest hand lift maker in Japan,​ ​
we developed the attachment for the BISHAMON brand handlift traction-

ZMP Inc. in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo (CEO, Hisashi Taniguchi, hereinafter ZMP) began taking orders for hand lift tow attachment of CarriRo® , a logistic support robot developed jointly with Sugiyasu Co.,Ltd. in Aichi Prefecture Takahama-shi (CEO , Yasutoshi Sugiura, hereinafter Sugiyasu).

In April 2018 we started the sale of standard type tow attachment , in the month of September , slim cart was for sale and in November , one-touch towing attachments and rear wheel fixed attachments for basket trucks were introduced and have been used by many of our customers.

In proportion to the ever-increasing amount of physical distribution, the hand-lift work load in the warehouse increases and in the logistics industry more manpower is required, the handling itself is also required to speed up. Now that urgent solutions are required before the Tokyo Olympic Games and the Paralympics which is to be held in next year. Together with Sugiyasu Corporation, the largest hand lift maker in Japan, we developed the attachment for the BISHAMON brand handlift traction.

① CarriRo® following function contributes hands-free and pallet transport without work load, contributing to promote employment of women and elderly people
② CarriRo® Multiple pallets can be transported at one time by utilizing Karugamo mode , running with multiple units
③ Utilizing the Autonomous moving mode model of CarriRo®, unmanned pallet conveyance becomes possible, contributing to labor saving

Price is 80,000 yen (excluding tax) and shipping starts from February 2019.


【Logistics Support Robot CarriRo®】


CarriRo® is a bogie type logistic support robot which is available in two different modes.The autonomous movement function and a following function.The latter can be operated using a joystick to move in karugamo mode which automatically follows a beacon (transmitter). By utilizing the CarriRo® function, it is possible to raise the transport productivity up to about 3 times. With CarriRo® alone you can carry baggage of up to 150 kg, CarriRo® with an optional tow jig can carry about 300 kg of baggage for 8 hours in a row, improving the efficiency of picking operations in warehouses and distribution centers.It is also possible to substitute a belt conveyor or AGV (automatic guided vehicle) by using it for inter-process conveyance in the factory. Since the start of sales,there has been a track record of more than 100 users.The Autonomous moving mode has not only introduced in logistics bases and factories but also in service industries like hotel.
