CarriRo® Case study Lectures at ZMP World 2019

-Introduction at distribution warehouses, operation method at factory, introduction effect and future development-

ZMP Inc. in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo (CEO, Hisashi Taniguchi) to hold ZMP World 2019 from July 23rd (Tuesday) to July 26th (Friday). ZMP World 2019 will hold a special case study lecture program on the functions of logistics support robot CarriRo®, the effects after its introduction in companies/industries and its future development.

Since its launch, CarriRo® has been installed in a total of more than 120 users, and the new value added by Autonomous movement has led to widespread adoption in various fields including service bases such as distribution bases and factories, as well as hotels.

In this lecture, Hokkaido Logistics Service Co., Ltd. outlines the collaboration between CarriRo® and AutoStore, and the productivity improvement. Sagawa Global Logistics Co., Ltd. introduces about the effects and prospects of using CarriRo® AD. Rising Co., Ltd. outlines the introduction of CarriRo® AD "Equipped with external connection function" model and its effects.

In addition, we will demostrate the CarriRo®, where we will setup a real warehouse environment at the CarriRo® EXPO, which will be held simultaneously with ZMP World 2019.

[Program Summary] Introduce how to operate the CarriRo® AD Equipped with external connection function. In the factory, automatic door and lifter are linked automatically to realize zero transport man-hours. We will also develop a system for position information and simultaneous control of CarriRo® AD, and introduce its outline.
