Cloud service ROBO-HI®​ ​

ZMP Inc. in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo (CEO, Hisashi Taniguchi, hereinafter ZMP) will announce Collaboration of CarriRo® with ROBO-HI®, a cloud service proven as a dispatch management system for automated driving vehicles and delivery robots. There are two main functions linked with CarriRo® and ROBO-HI®: visualization of operation status and simultaneous control of multiple units.

・ Visualization of operation status
It consists of two parts: real-time operation management and productivity report. In real-time operation management, the position information of each CarriRo®, the driving status, the remaining battery capacity, etc. can be grasped in real time, and even if CarriRo® is away from people, the situation can be grasped immediately and measures can be taken. In addition, the productivity report, information such as operating hours and mileage can be summarized as daily, weekly, monthly data etc. categories, and cost-effectiveness can be calculated from the operating rate of each CarriRo®.

・ Multiple simultaneous control
When using multiple CarriRo® at the same time in a warehouse or factory, it is possible to run according to a certain rule mutually, or to use CarriRo® in a specific place. This makes it possible to perform smooth mutual cooperation and interactive movements that match human movements, contributing to higher productivity.

Among the services, “Visualization of operation status” will start from September 2019, and “Multiple simultaneous control” will start from December 2019.


[About the logistics support robot CarriRo®]

The logistics support robot CarriRo® is a product developed using ZMP 's Autonomous Driving technology. The purpose of CarriRo® is to save labor and increase efficiency by reducing load of carrying work in the logistics industry because of labor shortage due to the declining birthrate and aging population. The logistics support robot CarriRo® is particularly used in the logistics industry where human labor shortage is a severe crisis. Currently, CarriRo® has a track record of more than 100 users since the start of its sales and after the introduction of Autonomous Moving mode in November last year. CarriRo® has not only introduced in logistics bases and factories but also in-service industries like hotel.
