ZMP Inc. in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo (CEO, Hisashi Taniguchi) starts the sale of the latest model of 1/10 scale Autonomous Driving technology development platform RoboCar® 1/10.

Since its launch in 2009, this product has been well received by research and educational institutions such as automobile / part manufacturers and universities, and has been used for various purposes such as research and development of Autonomous Driving and remote operation driving support systems. This time, we will sell the latest model with a new chassis and control unit battery. The main unit price is 825,000 JPY for commercial use and 705,000 JPY for academic use. Orders will start from today and will be shipped in December 2019.

[Changes in previous and latest models]
1. Body chassis change * No change in body size, performance, etc.
・ Conventional model: Carbon FRP chassis
・ Latest model: Aluminum chassis

2. Change control unit battery from optional to standard
・ Conventional model: AA nickel metal hydride batteries (× 12) sold as optional
・ Latest model: Lithium ion battery as standard

This change in the control battery makes it easier to charge compared to conventional products, so it can be expected that research and development efforts using this product will be reduced.
