RoboCar® MiniVan Case study at Aisan Technology

At Aisan Technology Co., Ltd., from June 2016 to February 2017,
We received a contract from Aichi prefecture and carried out "social acceptance demonstration experiment" for Autonomous Driving
This was carried out as an autonomous driving demonstration experiment for manned people carrying local companies and local government officials in 15 cities in Aichi Prefecture.
It has been successful as an experiment on a general road where vehicles and pedestrians pass through a total length of 50 km and a total travel distance of 2,800 km.

RoboCar® MiniVan, an Autonomous Driving development platform developed by ZMP is used as an Autonomous Driving test vehicle.
Velodyne's 3D-LiDAR or FLIR System monocular camera was installed as a sensor, created by Aisan Technology.
High-precision three-dimensional map, and Autonomous Driving , an open source software using the "Autoware" Autonomous Driving has been achieved.
At Aisan Technology, we also continued " Autonomous Driving Service Experiment at Roadside Station" and then to "Remote Autonomous Driving System Demonstration Experiment".
RoboCar® MiniVan is continuously used.
ZMP offers RoboCar® MiniVan based on minivan hybrid vehicles as an Autonomous Driving development platform from 2015 and also offers "RoboCar® MiniVan Autoware package" with Autoware. We also offer RoboCar MiniVan public road travel package, RoboCar MiniVan public road experiment support package such as ZMP`s own Autonomous Driving computing platform "IZACⓇ" to promote the research and development of a number of research institutions and companies.
