Urban development community app "Robo Town" to be released this year
ZMP Inc. in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo (CEO, Hisashi Taniguchi) to announce the Urban development community app "RoboTown™ (Robo Town)" during ZMP World 2020 held from August 18th, 2020 to August 20th.
ZMP's mission is to "freely move people and things and create a fun and convenient lifestyle." and for which we are working on utilizing robots in our daily life. Unlike industrial robots that are already popular, for life robots that are closely related to daily life, social implementation based on the voices of residents is essential. As one of the three elements of the Super City initiative promoted by the Japanese government is indicated as "resident participation". In order to adapt to the changing social conditions, there is a need for resident-based urban development mechanisms for residents.
RoboTown is a smartphone application that is the core of the mechanism which consists of resident communities in each city, maintenance of robot infrastructure, robot services (RaaS), and other functions.
Details of the service will be announced at ZMP World 2020, which will be held from August 18th to August 20th, 2020.
