Unmanned forklift CarriRo® Fork starts accepting orders for new walky type models

ZMP Inc. (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Taniguchi Hisashi, hereinafter ZMP) has started accepting orders for a new walky type model of the unmanned forklift CarriRo Fork.

The reach type to be sold from 2020 has a maximum payload of 1.4 tons and a maximum lift of about 6 meters, and its introduction is expanding because it can be used in the same way as the reach forklift normally used in warehouses. .. On the other hand, although the payload and lift are not required to that extent, there are also voices that want to introduce it reasonably, so we have developed a new walky type model and will start selling it this time.

Compared to the conventional walky type, the payload is reduced from 1.4t to 650kg, eliminating the need for a reach leg to support the vehicle body at the bottom, and it can also be used for loading and unloading general plastic pallets when placed flat.

In the case of existing factories and warehouses, it may be difficult to introduce unmanned forklifts due to environmental restrictions such as low ceilings and low floor loads. In that respect, this walky type can be used even in such an environment because the body weight is less than 1.8t and the height is 2.2m.

Furthermore, since the price is set at a reasonable price compared to the reach type, in the case of labor saving of hand lift work, the introduction cost can be reduced even in the part where it was difficult to obtain the cost effectiveness by introducing the unmanned forklift. There is more room for labor saving.

Features of the new walk type model
① Flat pallets up to 650 kg can be loaded and unloaded.
(2) Since the car body is compact, it can be used even in an environment with a low ceiling and a low floor load.
③ Because the price is reasonable, it can also be used to save labor in hand lift work.
