Robot Life 2021 - ロボットを社会インフラへ -

In 2020, ZMP will set up "RoboLife" and aim for the service of the robots that have been developed so far. We have been working on "RakuRo Sharing Service", "Unmanned Solution for Logistics Sites", and "Autonomous Driving Experiment of Freight Towing Vehicles at Airports".

In 2021, we will deliver those services and solutions that we have realized so far to as many people as possible, and aim to create a "robot infrastructure" in which robots support society.

This page introduces some of the activities that ZMP will work on in various fields this year.

Expansion of RoboTown! To a society where the three life robot brothers are moving around!

Beginning with full-scale social implementation by expanding the scale of the "single-seater Robot RakuRo sharing service" that was actually launched in Chuo-ku, Tokyo in October 2020. In 2021, we will carry out various demonstration services and verifications assuming the service implementation of "Unmanned delivery robot DeliRo" and "Unmanned security & disinfection robot PATORO".

Furthermore, by connecting these robots with ZMP's cloud system "ROBO-HI", each business operator can manage and operate the robots, and by linking with existing systems, we aim to become a social infrastructure for robots.

Unmanned distribution sites (factories and warehouses) !​ ​

In 2020, we started selling "Unmanned Forklift CarriRo Fork" and "Unmanned Towing Vehicle CarriRo Tractor", in addition to the "trolley type CarriRo AD" and "pallet transport type CarriRo AD +" that are already used in various fields as automation solutions.

In 2021, we will work to create a robot infrastructure at distribution sites by providing a one-stop solution that unmanned all transportation scenes in warehouses and factories by linking these robots.

Practical use of Autonomous Driving vehicles on private land such as airports and factories!

Since the end of 2018, ZMP has been conducting various autonomous driving demonstration experiments at Narita International Airport and Chubu International Airport.
In 2019, "RoboCar Mini EV Bus" and in 2020, "CarriRo Tractor 25T" were able to run autonomously within the restricted area of the airport.

Using ZMP's cloud system "ROBO-HI", we succeeded in managing the operation of autonomous vehicles and remote monitoring experiments that are close to actual operations. In 2021, based on the know-how we have cultivated, we aim to put the "RoboCar Mini EV Bus", an autonomous driving bus, to practical use on private land.

Under the mission of "Robot of Everything to free the movement of people and things and create a fun and convenient lifestyle," ZMP will continue to put new products and services to practical use through various projects, and will be an indispensable infrastructure for the world.
